 November 20: Promotion Examination Results
School members and friends, please take a moment to congratulate two of our instructors on successfully challenging for promotion examination this past November 20, 2011.
Master Danladi Whitten: promoted to 4th Degree Black Belt
Senior Instructor Andrae Rose: promoted to 3rd Degree Black Belt
June 10: JTR Jujutsu June Anniversary
The JTR Jujutsu School last week held their first anniversary since opening the school last year. On this day there was food brought by many of the students, grilling by Kim Sensei's wife, music and demonstrations by the higher rank students. We'd like to thank everyone who helped bring this event to life, who contributed and assisted this passed Friday. We'd also like to thank everyone who has supported us through this inaugural year, while taking in the good and the bad as a learning experience. Photos to come.
June 14th: Student Ranking Test Like every martial arts school we must have a test of students growth and abilities as a martial artist. On June 14, 2011 students will gather and be a part of the next step in their martial arts goal. Each will be tested in their current rank to see how they've grown and if they are ready for the next level. Test time starts at 7pm and is mandatory unless special permission has been giving to the students by Kim Sensei. Also no JTR Jujutsu t-shirts will be allowed during the test time, only the traditional gi is test appropriate. Remember cleanliness is also apart of the test and no uniform infractions will be accepted. Photos to come.
